Hollie Miller is a performance artist with an interdisciplinary practice and a background in contemporary dance. Her artistic practice combines performance, moving image, photography, sculpture, and installation. She regularly collaborates with musician Craig Scott, utilizing sound to add intensity to her imagery across performance and film.
Miller has performed internationally in galleries, museums and festivals. Selected exhibitions include: Somerset House, London; San Mei Gallery, London; South Kiosk, London; UK Mexican Arts Society; Hastings Contemporary, Margate, and Airspace Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent. Selected performances include: Camden People's Theater, London; House of Mass, London; MEM Experimental Festival, Bilbao; Land Art Biennale Art Safiental in Switzerland; London's Biennale of International Performance Art and Noise; Revolve Performance Art Days, Uppsala and Apulia Land Art Festival in Italy. Her films have been screened at Unit Gallery, London; Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul; Performance Space, Folkestone, etc. In 2019, she won The Next Image Award by the Bury Art Museum, Manchester, for the film "We the Living".
