Biography
Margarita Siebke is an artist from Mainz whose works focus on a deep connection between body, mind and soul. Her art, which uses a combination of analog and digital techniques, includes acrylic, oil and pastel paintings as well as drawings with charcoal and ink. She is particularly well known for her angel paintings and variations of churches in Mainz.
She received her artistic training at the Kunstwerkstatt Mainz, where she completed a four-year course with distinction. She was significantly inspired by personal experiences and spiritual themes, which is clearly reflected in her work. A central motif of her art is the exploration of "sacred space" and the representation of the human figure within this context.
In addition to her artistic practice, Margarita also works as a learning therapist, using creative methods to support children and young people with reading and spelling difficulties. These two aspects of her life - art and therapy - are often intertwined, as can be seen in the materials and techniques she uses for both professions.
Her work is presented both online and in various exhibitions, always striving to inspire and provoke thought in viewers.
