Biography
Thierry Bamas creates silhouettes or busts of men and women by recovering steel, used metals polished by time, which are cut, hammered, twisted and assembled with faces sculpted in bronze or in patinated terracotta.
They are figurative, very expressive, often haughty, colorful characters. His many trips, especially to Africa and Asia are a real source of inspiration. His work as a sculptor, an explorer of matter provokes both astonishment and emotion.
