Studio Brichet Ziegler

Created in 2010 by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, Studio Brichet Ziegler offers a transversal and open vision of design through a technical and poetic approach. With a deep understanding of know-how, they take a new look at materials and shapes. For 10 years, the duo has continued their creative conversation and formed an open think tank to interact without limits. Working on all scales, from crafts to industry, their projects are born through their meetings. They collaborate with furniture and lighting companies. Colorful, graphic and expressive, they design evocative objects, where the material is highlighted, as well as the uses. In 2015, eager to develop another field of expression and experimentation, they were among the first French creators to explore the field of self-production by creating the By Hands collection. A family of objects and furniture, imagined, designed and made by themselves in their workshop, in limited edition. In 2017, they received the Grand Prize for Creation from the City of Paris. Some of their products belong to the permanent collections of Mobilier National and CNAP. Our vision Each new project is an opportunity to question ourselves. We often use material or processes as a starting point, this determines how we approach the project. Working with materials and their properties, respecting their limits, while exploring the extent of possibilities or diverting know-how are key dimensions of our approach. We aspire to create bold products that stand out for their shapes and technical qualities. Objects that fit into any environment and that last, beyond trends. That's why we believe in craftsmanship, processes, people, manufacturers and local production for the future.
