El género, la cultura, el aislamiento, los prejuicios y los estereotipos son explorados en la obra del fotógrafo coreano Bae Hyo-Chan (nacido en 1975, Busan, Corea del Sur).
Desde que se graduó de la Slade School of Fine Art en 2007, Chan-Hyo Bae expresa en su obra los sentimientos de la distancia cultural y emocional que experimentó cuando vino a estudiar a Inglaterra. Varias series tituladas existente en el traje (2007-16) vieron lo puso en una variedad de trajes occidentales históricos femeninos, integrando en la historia y la sociedad, que se sentía excluida.
Se busca en todos los detalles, creó elaboradas escenas de sí mismo como un noble mujer, la era isabelina a la era regenerativa.
