Wang Fei is a Chinese artist born in 1964 who lives and works in Chaoyang near Beijing in China. In 1986, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Fuyang Normal University. In 1992, he worked at the Chinese Buddhist Culture Research Association. In 1994, he had a solo painting exhibition at the National Art Museum of China. In 2005, he created the series "Relationship", which begins to return attention to reality from the meditation of mythology.
Among them, the immense works "Mirrored Heaven" (2008) and "Purgatory - Tribute to Dante" (2010-2019), fully assert themselves. They reveal the realm of the existence of contemporary people and his compassionate vision of the century foreshadows by inadvertently the global crisis in the "post-epidemic era". In 2016, he founded Qingmei's "Wang Fei Contemporary Ink Painting Class". In 2017, he turned to creating "Psychic Art" forming a unique "fractal" theory and concept of the soul. In 2020, "Spiritual Art - Wang Fei's Ink and Wash Research" (Xia Kejun) will be released. In 2021, he received the "Ku Art" which is the prize for the Chinese artist of the year and then the main prize of the 3rd Chinese Art Biennial of Anren.
