Max Rovira is a Catalan painter of Spanish origin.
He directed his earliest work in the post-Impressionism, then while maintaining the pictorial rigor project into a palette of inexhaustible variety of reflections and light and thus a change of attitude towards reality .
His paintings were close then cubism with some nostalgia and sadness offset by a chromatic scale that is becoming more radiant.
Self-taught, he is a personal style, inspired by the statues of Easter Island.
He loves to bring out a thematic surprenante.Sa painting is powerful and generous, colors sometimes hot and cold in a frantic pace, leaves us in no case indifferent.
Everything is architected and is positioned as "a painting of freedom."
