Lola Jamin

Lola Jamin was born on October 10, 2001 and grew up on the Opal Coast.

After spending twelve years in the North of France, she returned with her family to her father's native Gard in 2013.

This wild and rural region, which she loves to explore in its nooks and crannies, inspired her first drawings - mainly representing animals.

In Uzès, Lola was very quickly able to rub shoulders with equestrian areas, horses would become the main subjects of her creations.

It was at the Charles Gide high school in Uzès that she was able to deepen her artistic techniques during visual arts classes. The support of her teacher, Mr. Noël, was decisive in her work.

After obtaining her Bac L specializing in Arts, Lola continued her studies with a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Design at the University of Nîmes, where she learned in particular to use digital techniques, which allowed her to create more developed stop-motion animations.

It was during the year 2021 that she began to move away from the school environment, aspiring to a future closer to the Earth and animals, especially horses. With the aim of getting closer to them and in a more in-depth way, particularly through an ethological approach, she met Emmanuel Pédeneau, from the Ecurie Font Clarette, at the Uzès market. Thanks to him, she discovered working with horses, horsemanship and harnessing.

His development is reflected in his drawings, which will be exhibited for the first time in his parents' gallery in Uzès during the summer, and at an art fair in Calais (62) in September.

At the end of her three years of Bachelor's degree, in 2022, and after careful consideration, she decided to devote herself fully to her passion: drawing.
