Biography
Pooshy Lebaron is a French artist born in 1979. He lives and works in Marseille.
He grew up in an artistic family and began drawing at the age of 15, he draws about what he sees on the streets, about his punk and rap music taste and about artists he admires such as Basquiat and Keith Haring.
In his paintings, Pooshy tries to depict his sensibility through an intense and primitive trait, revealing the influence of raw art on his practice. Whereas he depicted mostly skulls at first, now he explores more personal themes in paintings that mix colors, drawings and texts.
He is particularly represented by the Charron Gallery in Paris.
