Emerich Meerson, a French painter born in Germany, spent his childhood in Bulgaria. He lives and works in Paris. He has designed collections of watches and jewelry under his own name, as well as for the most famous jewelers, such as Tiffany's, Elsa Perretti, Mikimoto, Van Cleef & Arpels.
Recognized as one of the most talented designers of his generation, he always continued to draw and paint.
Since 1992, painting has been his only profession. The result today is an extraordinary work. He exhibited, first in a private setting, then in individual or group exhibitions.
It is difficult to classify Emerich Meerson in a particular school or trend, due to his abundant creativity and his constant search for plastic expression.
Her individuality is strong and recognizable in all her work, which is, first and foremost, full of emotion. Looking at one of his drawings, one of his paintings, one of his sculptures, always elicits questions, feelings and thoughts. This is because the artist is always looking for the truth hidden behind the visible world. Sometimes profusely, sometimes sparingly, it transmutes the vibrations of matter, the coexistence of order and disorder, movement towards becoming rather than an image frozen in the present. His work is rich and enriching.
