Biography
Michèle Vincent's artistic approach begins with a change in technique. In 1990, she decided to paint in oil on canvas while, since 1975, she used watercolor and then acrylic. But before painting she wrote a document entitled: an endless story, which recounts the ancient struggle between good and evil.
Anchored in the fantastic and the dreamlike, she brings this story to life with recurring characters and even animals and decor, which forges the unity of her work.
Her initial training as an illustrator shows an alchemy between meticulousness and creativity with an attention to detail, a detail that we do not often see at first glance.
Michèle Vincent, for more than 20 years, told her story in her paintings, creating an original and demanding work. She thus widened her furrow while defying fashions.
In fact, his artistic approach is free imagination.
