Présentation
Herbert George Ponting, FRGS (21 mars 1870 - 7 février 1935) était un photographe professionnel. Il est surtout connu en tant que photographe d'expédition et directeur de la photographie pour l'expédition Terra Nova de Robert Falcon Scott vers la mer de Ross et le pôle Sud (1910-1913). Dans ce rôle, il a capturé certaines des images les plus durables de l'ère héroïque de l'exploration de l'Antarctique.
