Presentation
Trained in interior architecture and design, particularly at the Boulle School, Patricia Molinaro, who signs PatMoli, found her way by deciding to leave her freelance career in computer graphics, 2D animation (for TV and Cité des sciences de La Villette) and video production to move to the south of France and devote yourself freely to painting.
Twenty years of exploring various materials and supports have revealed it to itself. She displays her joie de vivre in cheerful and colorful works, overflowing with spontaneity and energy. Their exuberance is reminiscent of Gaudi's curves or the sensuality of Tamara de Lempicka, painter of the "Art Deco" era, as well as a touch of 'sketch' style of women, which shows that this artist has been influenced by her first desire to become a stylist.
The favorite theme of PatMoli is the woman, always represented in a liberated and sensual way, exalting the colors and her admirable forms. The feet that end the long legs of these ladies inevitably wear shoes with pink heels, a touch of eroticism which is its trademark.
SILHOUETTES
It is with humor and lightness that PatMoli takes us into his universe of sculptures, silhouettes and large formats on a human scale. Playing with the transparency of resin and the symbolism of representations, she invents expressive characters who are part of everyday life, objects and partners at the same time.
Total artist, she works on the search for materials, the relationship to matter, far from any virtual consideration.
