Biography
Born in 1961, Albert Alis is a Spanish artist, who received his training from artists like Pablo Mane, Raul Capitan and J. Martinez Lozano.
Right after finishing his studies in the 70's, he had already won two awards in painting at Ceuta and Mataro and an award in drawing in Barcelona. His first exhibition was at the Municipal museum in Mataro in 1981. His worked evolved in the 80's with a painting which was more oriented towards abstraction, and where light became the main highlight of his paintings.
Renowned in Spain, he now exhibits at several European art galleries and his works are also part of public and private institutions.
