Polly Anne Napangardi was born in 1980 in Darwin (Northern Territory). His family is from Lajamanu, an Aboriginal community located between Darwin and Alice Springs, at the gateway to the Tanami Desert. She now lives in Yuendumu in the Central Desert where she began her career as an artist in 2006 although she was introduced to painting from her childhood by her two deceased parents. This artist with a very identifiable style explains her work: “I love colors, I paint Mina Mina Jukurrpa (Dream of Mina Mina), a myth that relates the stories of the Dreamtime that take place in Janyinki, my father's territory. When I was little, he took me to this place. ". Today, she continues to visit this land regularly, which she represents on the basis of ancient patterns, sometimes using earthy and ocher tones, sometimes a lively and tangy palette.
