Patrick Hughes is a British artist, born in 1939 in Birmingham.
Perspective is the main focus in his artistic research, at first glance his paintings are flat but the effect of perspective comes along when they are viewed from an angle. Indeed, his paintings and the construction of his work use pyramids, whose points face the spectator, he plays around with optical illusions and creates a 3D vision, which is revealed when one changes the angle of view.
His work has been exhibited around the world during several personal and collective exhibitions, and is also part of many public collections.
