Anaelle Myriam Chaaib weaves fabulations and historical narratives that take us on a journey steeped in childhood memories of her two countries of origin. Blending naive Moroccan painting from the last century with recognizable cultural references, the artist invites us to reflect on the past, the present, reality and fiction. The starting point for this evolving autobiographical reflection is the work entitled "Le mariage : deux fleuves se rencontrent", representing the allegory of the marriage of the artist's parents.
Anaëlle Myriam Chaaib reveals slices of life where images of France mingle with those of Morocco, offering a poetic narrative imbued with humor and sensitivity. Between her artistic explorations and her passion for cooking, Anaëlle Myriam Chaaib expresses her universe through acrylic paintings and gouaches on paper, where the personal and the political meet in a symbolic language.
