Biography
Feminist photographer, hacker for whom light is essential in his works.
Professional since 2001, after 5 years as an assistant Charly started in advertising. Very quickly, in parallel with his advertising production, he created a universe where the woman brought to light by the artist held a dominating place. Always on the razor's edge, tattooed, harnessed with accessories between erotic aestheticism and without ever tipping over into vulgarity, her world disturbs some, seduces others. Strong or submissive women, they are the ones who lead, who play. Respect, distance, modesty towards her models, these women always accomplices, sublimated by a cinematographic light, keep control, it shows in the images.
The best compliment he received came from a woman who was convinced that these photos were taken by a woman!
Charly does not leave indifferent! Always looking for techniques to surprise, he tirelessly tests new forms of plastic expression.
For almost 15 years, he has also been part of the TRIII collective.
This collective is made up of three visual artists and two musicians, the creation here is video and sound, the aim being to immerse the spectator in a sensory and auditory experience, to make him travel to the rhythm of images and sound.
The installations are sometimes intimate, but most often they take possession of a place, adapt to their environment and are always produced with personal content or created for the event.
Performances are usually mixed live with input from the musicians.
