Samuel Yal is a French sculptor. The artist focuses his research on the body, the face and their relationships to space. He directed a short film Nœvus which won numerous awards in 2016. The film was selected for the César in 2017. Samuel Yal received the Georges Coulon prize in 2016 from the Academy of Fine Arts, as well as the sculpture prize Bernard Magrez in 2017.
