Krisztina Serra is a Hungarian visual artist, specializing in ceramics and painting, born in 1995.
“My main inspirations are the moments of life that we experience daily. The joy of meeting, of sharing, of contemplating in all simplicity what exists, are for me subjects of wonder that I try to translate into my work. »
After studying painting in Hungary under the direction of Katona György and artisanal ceramics in France at the Ecole Duperré, then at ENSAAMA, she currently works in Paris.
His contemplative work draws its inspiration from the state of mind of still lifes which the Hungarian more delicately calls “silent lives". The observation of the discreet and simple beauty of everyday objects permeates his creative work in both painting and ceramics.
His research is deliberately situated between art and craftsmanship. Thus, his artistic work is marked by the requirement for technical mastery of the media used and his artisanal work is inhabited by an attention paid to the unpretentious poetry of familiar everyday life. All his sensitivity is expressed in his work of bringing together shapes, colors and materials with a view to composing harmonious and serene works.
