Pascal HAYOT Artistic career
At the age of 14, he discovered a painter from Thonon les Bains, the young boy did not realize the importance of this moment. This meeting will prove decisive, pushing Pascal Hayot to draw and paint the surrounding Alps, but especially the burnished portraits of the ancient Savoyards. These were the beginnings of a self-taught journey, a few years later, which would lead to the discovery of the museums of Paris and the classes of the Grande Chaumière. The learning continues with monumental murals created for the seventh art. Tired of the hustle and bustle of Paris, he returned to Annecy, where he worked in advertising. During his distinguished career in portrait painting, he became the personal designer to the King of Morocco. His new acquaintance commissioned a series of murals and ceiling paintings for the royal palace in Fez and for the Mammounia hotel in Marrakech. This experience strengthens Pascal Hayot's confidence and pushes him to open his own workshop, to which he dedicates his free life.
