Presentation
Elin Liavik is a Norwegian landscaper who loves light, patterns, textures and abandoned places. Fascinated by the way how the light creates and transforms a scene, she brings special care to composition and framing in order to reveal the beauty of everyday things.
"I like simplicity, light, patterns and subjects that move me. I am always looking for the best angle and the best light. I spend a lot of time composing and framing. In my quest for patterns, I sometimes start without knowing where I am going. I like to come back to places at another time of the year, looking for a different light. I am fond of abandoned places. They have their own textures and colours. I believe that void has a specific light."
