Mia Civita

I am a Brazilian artist based in Miami, currently focused on creating abstract contemporary works. I was born and raised in São Paulo, but I moved to the US to pursue a career in the veterinarian field. After studying marine biology for two years, I decided to switch careers and chase what I've always wanted to do; art. 

I use nature and biology as inspiration for the majority of my paintings, using mixed media to make textured and organic artworks. I look up to a variety of different artists, but Laurel Holloman and Rajan Seth are the ones who I greatly admire and am influenced by.
