Biography
Roseline Al Oumami is a French painter of Norman origin.
A decisive meeting
From childhood, Roseline Al Oumami explores her artistic fiber through dance, music and drawing. At the age of 18, his meeting with Sister Jeanne Dupont, an artist then recognized under the name of Yvain Marnier, revealed to him his true vocation. She passed on her passion for painting and sponsored her to present her work in various salons. In 1990, she presented her figurative paintings during a first personal exhibition and received a prize in the international competition organized by the city of Deauville.
A perpetual renewal
Roseline Al Oumami never ceases to renew herself through her art. Oscillating between abstraction, fantasy and semi-figurative, his works have their roots in the works of Jackson Pollock, Pierre Soulages, Nicolas de Staël, Hans Hartung or Zao Wou Ki. Having worked for a long time in oil paint, she now abandons it for acrylic paint and pays particular attention to the material to create an effect of movement.
An accomplished artist
Since her first exhibition in 1990, Roseline Al Oumami has established herself on the national and international artistic scene. His work has indeed earned him numerous exhibitions in France but also in Portugal, Italy, Algeria, Norway, China, Germany, England and the United States.
