Biography
Albert Besnard (1849-1934) is a French painter and engraver, a pupil of Brémond and Cabanel at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. His engraved work is rich in more than 200 etchings and dry points, and includes many series ("Elle", "La Femme", "Les petits voluptés" ...).
