Biography

I was born on July 15, 1949 in Paris, Place du Louvre. Every form has a design and every design aspires to take shape. My work is at the same time a reflection on the body, its representation by the drawing and finally the various metamorphoses which allow the return to the third dimension. The field of representation goes from form to gesture, to movement and even thought which finds the strength of its development in the fold. Miniaturization led me on the path of the monumental. This is why today I am making five of the smallest pieces of the Eternal Hills series in sizes from 30 cm to 50 cm which will be available very soon, this month or next month. I intend to make this site a real place of access to my work which itself is susceptible to a great possibility of development. I would like to conclude by quoting two poets who will always be a great source of inspiration: Rainer Maria Rilke - In "Letters to a young poet" "Art demands of its simple faithful as much as of its creators." - In "Letter from the Young Worker" "Nothing is more powerful than silence. And if we had not been born in the heart of the Word, it would never have been broken." René Char - In "The dog of the heart" "Desire neither sows nor reaps, it succeeds only him and belongs only to him. However, he designates himself as the absolute creditor." "I will speak and I know how to say, but what is the hostile echo that interrupts me?"
