Biografía
Thierry Corpet, alias Raymond X es un artista francés, nacido en 1965 que vive y trabaja en Corte en Córcega.
"Inspirado en la técnica del "cut up", inventada por William Burroughs, Thierry Corpet es un artista atípico que crea obras híbridas y contemporáneas donde se superponen formas geométricas, logotipos, acrónimos, pictogramas, siluetas pixeladas, códigos de barras, simbolizando con un necesario ligereza el mundo de hoy en forma de poema gráfico entre la figuración y la abstracción.
En analogía con la ecología, sus pinturas y sus esculturas dan testimonio de la suma de bienes y cosas que acumulamos, consciente o inconscientemente, en nuestro cerebro como tantas alacenas llenas de fragmentos obsoletos de vida".
