Hi, I’m Candice Grant!

Color makes me giddy! Anxiety has been a part of my life since I was a child. Painting empowers me to convey my self-reliance and inner power. Painting is therapeutic for me as I was bullied as a child. It brings me balance and connection to the present moment. I keep an open mind and I'm curious by choosing colors that reflect the conflict I've experienced.

Inspiration

Inspired by my environment ideas come from broken lines on the ground, shadows, the shedding of a tree, cloud formations, or how the colors of a rainbow collide. I love hiking and seeing how the colors mingle with each other collecting rocks and shells along the way. In my abstract paintings, I want people to feel a sense of joy and imaginative freedom. Color uplifts your mood, it brightens a room and color makes me happy!
