Artist Statement:
I am a wildlife painter and have dedicated the past 33 years to painting my observations in nature. I travel consistently and capture images of my subjects in their natural surroundings. Fueled by this experience I return to the studio and transfer the encounter on linen with thick layers of colorful oil paint. The vibration of color brings the subjects energy directly to the observer.
The work created is collected from Dallas to Dubai and Exhibited Internationally.
It has shown in 15 museums, 18 Solo Exhibitions, and over 180 Group Exhibitions.
It is an honor for me to be the conduit as a painter. Painting is a meditation and means of sharing my respect for the natural world. I am a Signature Member of Artist For Conservation, BC. Canada, as a member I commit 10% of the proceeds from my work to conservation.
