Giovanni Memmo was an Italian doctor and general born in 1871. Teacher at the Military Health School. He was in Eritrea with health duties. Back home he became a teacher of hygiene in Rome. He participated in the war of Libya and in the first world war always in the health service. After the war he served in the General Directorate of Military Health and when he was promoted to Medical General he was appointed instructor of the III Zone (Naples) with important positions.
