Sergio Zavarzin

Sergey Zavarvin is a Ukrainian artist based in Barcelona. Sergey Zavarvin perceives the world around him as an associative chain between reality and a state of paradox.  

He considers paradox as a constant basis, not only of everyday life, but also of thought in general. The existential principle can be traced in all his paintings, regardless of the genre in which they were created: whether it's a portrait, landscape, still life or genre painting.  

In his work he does not use a one-sided image of reality, but allows for many interpretations of his artistic material. In technical terms, the painter uses a large arsenal of artistic means and methods.

One of the painter's distinguishing features is that for him, the opinions of his fellow artists and the viewer are of equal value.
