Sandro Maglakelidze (STG)

Sandro Maglakelidze (STG) is a Georgian artist born in 1987 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is an autodidact artist. Sandro has have never learned painting professionally and the result of my works are just a natural flow of a wandering mind. The artist finds it comforting, to materialize the existing chaos in my mind and organize it within the frames of my paintings. There are no preexisting sketches or rulers to maintain the symmetry, the end result of the work is as surprising to the creator as it is for the viewer. STG's art generally is based around the idea of Japanese wabi-sabi, the embracing imperfection. The curious eye of any age can find a detail of his interest or a hidden pattern inside the mysticism infused paintings, therefore these works are ageless.
