Biography
In his early days, after studying photography, Gérard Prévost immersed himself in this art and became a photographer while at the same time being fascinated by charcoal drawing, pencil drawing and figurative painting. He made more than fifty drawings of old doors and streets of Paris then began to paint his first canvases with oil paint, working mainly on the approach of the female and male body, work which earned him several exhibitions. . He produces frescoes for large hotels and prestigious places. After a break of several years to devote himself to graphic design and the artistic direction of the magazine Glint, created with his partner (magazine dedicated to art, photography and beauty), he decided to return to his first passion, painting. . With an overflowing creativity, he abandons the figurative and transposes his imagination towards a more contemporary painting. Between shadow and light, he plays with texture and material and takes us on an emotional journey. His painting is expressed in large format. His writing is compelling.
