Fabienne Auzolle is specialized in ceramics. She studied Art History at « l'Ecole du Louvre » in Paris, and is graduate of ENSAAD – Duperré, a famous Applied arts school in Paris.
Strongly inspired by medieval sculptures of « vierges noire » in the Auvergne area of France and religious icons, she is also draws by 17th century paintings and the likes of Nicolas Poussin and Philippe de Champaigne. Her pieces are made entirely by hand from clay and enamel, every ceramic sculpture is unique.
The imagination of the artist has found an masterly development in her mural artworks. Sewn on an former linen canvas, an abundance of ceramic pendants, a multitude of shade of a same color, give an endless red or an endless white.
