Paka
Biography
Since childhood, Paka has been immersed in art.
A father in advertising, a mother who practices painting and sculpture, it is natural that glue and brushes in his hands, he will choose art as a means of expressing his emotions.
First on his school notebooks, he will then begin more seriously on Canson sheets and on canvas.
A few works later, it is in the street that he will come to paste his drawings and freehand graph in a wilder way portraits to the eyes stunned by the spectacle they seem to see.
The repetition of shapes, lines and symmetry are all parameters framing these bright areas of color. Enigmatic mouths, the omnipresence of eyes in his works, reveal a hypnotic dimension to his paintings.
Originally from Lyon, Paka is an artist who enjoys transmitting his passion and introducing children to art. Acting in the service of the community as an educator, his social and cultural commitment is reflected both in his works and through his profession.
