Gabriella Moussette is a Franco-Polish artist born in 1975 in the Nièvre and now lives in Paris. She studied literature and completed a complete artistic career shared between Fine Arts and workshops. The artist has many and varied experiences in the artistic field since she has worked as a decorative painter as well as a sculptor or even a graphic designer. Since 2012, she has also been studying art therapy, which allows her to orient her work with a new plastic gaze and to combine her artistic and therapeutic skills.
After having worked for many years on pictorial research through figurative subjects, the artist now focuses on the emotion of line and and color, and abandons the subject. She thus manages to transcribe feelings, feelings, through her works by juggling between effects of light and shadows, by insisting on gestures. She tries to freeze for a moment both on her canvas and in memories, thus playing on the memories and emotions of the spectators.
“My paintings are a means of escape to meet our intimate landscapes. My painting is a form of meditation, an Ode to nature, because beauty surrounds us ... let's learn to look at it again. "
His painting is thus made of vibrations of colors, emotions and impulses which are expressed through an emancipated gesture.
Gabriella Moussette uses multiple techniques that range from painting to sculpture, including art foundry, watercolor, oil or pastel. Nevertheless, painting remains his preferred means of expression.
She has held numerous exhibitions since 1997 at the Carrousel du Louvres in particular but also at the Town Hall of the 17th arrondissement, at the Biennial of Artists of the VI arrondissement in 2012 and 2014, at the Galerie du Luxembourg, in London, Tours, Rennes ...
