Vesna Jovanovic

Born in Chicago to immigrant parents, Vesna Jovanovic spent most of her early life in the former Yugoslavia. Jovanovic received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Chicago.

Lei Jovanovic is a recipient of Ucross Foundation Scholarships and many other awards including two residencies at the Santa Fe Art Institute; a residency at MASS MoCA; at the residence VCCA France. Her work has been exhibited at the University of Chicago's Gordon Center for Integrative Science; Haggerty Art Gallery at the University of Dallas; USO Urban Arts Space; Hyde Park Arts Centre; The International Museum of Surgical Sciences; and the Chashama Gallery in New York among many other venues, and is included in the permanent art collections of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center; International Museum of Surgical Sciences; and the Koehnline Museum of Art.
