Presentation

Delphine Dénéréaz, visual artist, was born in 1989 in the South-East of France. Graduated with a master's degree in textile design in 2013 at La Cambre, Brussels, she now lives and works in Marseille. Delphine Dénéréaz works with recycled textiles, combining the art of traditional weaving of the lirette with popular images such as symbols, logos, and scenes of daily life.

Inspired by contemporary aesthetics and with a real interest in carpets, a symbolic object of Mediterranean culture, Delphine Dénéréaz transforms domestic fabrics that she recovers (sheets, tablecloths, curtains) into tapestries, allowing them to be recycled and reused.

Delphine Dénéréaz exhibited at Oof Galerie in London, at the Consulat Voltaire in Paris as well as at Villa Noailles in Hyères, in 2022. In 2021, she was invited in residence at the Collection Lambert in Avignon, as well as at Coco Velten, in Marseille.
