Biography
Like no one else, Jean-Baptiste Delarue show us around the street of Paris, New York and Venice. He sees the beauty where potentially no one else would – in empty streets with buildings covered in falling off plaster, small boulangeries, coffee shops creating a mood of nostalgia where dreams meet with memories…
Born in 1950 in Poland, a professor of Academiy of Fine Arts, he left for France in 1977 just to see his friends but fell in love with Paris so hopelessly that he quickly knew he cannot live anywhere else. Starting as a painter on the streets of Montmartre, through the first galleries, he finally reached with his art within the walls of numerous museums and private collections.
