Selda Soyut dit Selda

Born in France in 1981, a self-taught painter from a young age, the passion for drawing lives in me and this desire to paint returned to me in 2005 with the exhibition in Saint-Jean Passion.

In June 2015, I joined an art gallery “Art Pluriel" where I held a workshop with other artists, I stayed there for 2 years before joining the group of artists at the agency RG-4 in June 2017 until June 2018, since then I have revealed my little stories through different media, these are sometimes linked to anecdotes of the day and sometimes to my thoughts on significant moments which may have touched me. I have occupied an artist's studio since 2019 which I opened to the public in October 2023 located in Aurec-sur-Loire. 

I exhibited in Amsterdam NDSM Fuse, Hyères gallery Marie Poscia, Paris gallery Thuillier and my works were projected on the monuments of Miami. 

Passionate about colors, I like to combine them with each other. The desire to create and stand out fuels me. My own style is manifested quite simply through drawing. Each of my works are different from each other. My creativity comes from real-life stories, my instincts and my thoughts. I like to dare and make it out of the ordinary! Not taking inspiration from any particular painter and remaining true to myself.
