Presentation

Born in Seoul (South Korea), raised and schooled in Antwerp (Belgium), formed and educated worldwide.

Art is a constant in Daksha Line's life. As a toddler, at her father's side, she already had the opportunity to feel and breathe the mesmerizing atmosphere of the Academy of Antwerp. After various courses in the visual arts, it was exactly there where she further realized her dream, later in life. Drawing and painting is an essential part of her daily life. From clay modeling, which taps into early childhood memories, sparked another passion : Bronze, the lost wax technique. The collaboration of the elements, fire – water – earth – air – metal, makes this process feel magical to her.

“You can influence the process, but you can never fully predict it. Each unique casting indicates where it wants to take you.".

Her creations, 2D or 3D, come alive by establishing a deep connection with the subject, where letting go and making intuitive choices alternate. “My art draws inspiration from spirituality, sacred geometry, meditation and personal introspection. I strive to convey complex emotions and a sense of tranquility through my work."
