Biography
Born in March 1969, after studying at the School of Marketing and Advertising in Paris, Martine Sigolet turned towards creation and began her professional activity as a copywriter in an advertising agency.

It was when she arrived in New York where her personal life had led her that she finally decided to take the plunge.
She made her debut there and trained in drawing and painting at the Art Students League in New York for 3 years.
Back in Paris, she joined a workshop in the 15th arrondissement of Paris for 3 years.
She found the limits of this teaching and joined in 2004 the courses of Jean Arcelin at the workshop of the passage in the 17th arrondissement. This meeting is a turning point and a revelation ...
This is how Martine Sigolet's initiatory journey is built.
After practicing the exercise of portraits and nudes, then experimenting with color and composition with very colorful canvases of flowers in close-up, she gives free rein to her emotions and launches out in urban scenes inspired by the impressions she has kept from his 7 years spent in the United States and his childhood in Le Havre.
His creations reflect the whirlwind and the energy felt in these cities.
Space, movement and light are the key words and the fundamental elements of his paintings executed with a rapid and spontaneous gesture.
