Biography
Christoff Debusschere is a French painter born in 1962. Son of the painter Nicole Lacombe with whom he worked from an early age. In 1978 he trained with Philippe Lejeune, who taught him to master his talent.
His favorite subjects are unusual places such as ports, old warehouses, theaters. He also likes old planes, carcasses of all kinds and mechanical parts for the light they shine.
He has received numerous awards, especially the silver and the gold medal at the Salon of French artists, the Taylor Award at the Salon d’Automne, the price of Salon des Invalides, the Grand Prize Exhibition Bourget, the price of the Minister of Defense, and the price Grace of Monaco.
Christoff Debusschere was named official painter of the Air Force in 1992, Official Painter of the Navy and Official Painter of the Army in 1997.
