Biography
Pascal Milcendeau is a self-taught painter living on the Vendée coast.
About twenty years ago, his pictures of the world oriented his drawing towards "people", their attitude, their looks, their difficulties in life buried in smiles ... It seems important to him to show the colors and the joy of live from these visited and welcoming countries; and thus paint a certain world before it disappears, with a look of a big child. Hence this traveling, narrative and contemporary painting. Telling a story, bringing it back with its colors in our somewhat gray Europe; tell these beauties of the world, of the people of the world, who will disappear, perhaps, in globalization. And tell it in a "naive" way, trying to imitate the child who draws and who slumbers in him.
Nature is not the only one to move us with its colors, man also knows how to amaze us with his achievements. Pascal Milcendeau also transcribes this in his own personal way.
“A succulent find for me is French self-taught artist Pascal Milcendeau;
he is also passionate about travel and photos. His works tell us of his travels of course, but also more deeply, his sensitive gaze on the humans he has met. He tells us about his visions, his looks and his encounters imbued with beauty; the warm colors, which are almost alive, enchant us and literally, he takes us with him on his travels! To discover! "
