Mary Badalyan

Mary Badalian is a contemporary visual artist based in Yerevan. With a degree in law, Mary has continuously developed her artistic self and started a unique journey. Her passion for art expanded her horizons and brought significant recognition, taking her artworks to international exhibitions and galleries.

While pursuing her law degree at the esteemed Slavonic University of Armenia, Mary developed an inner passion for art as self-expression. A unique artistic journey followed this revelation. Her extraordinary style and technique are primarily inspired by her beloved grandmother, a talented embroiderer, whose influence was strongly transferred to Mary.

She perfectly combines traditionally feminine craft with fine art, with a delicate touch of innovation.
Mary is a graduate of the Institute of Contemporary Art Moscow and is currently furthering her education at the Institute of Contemporary Art Yerevan and pursuing new and better ways of her artistic expression.
