Biography

Renzo Martini ( Livorno 1937-2005 ) - PostMacchiaioli School

The painter Renzo Martini has dedicated his art to the representation of boats, marine views, hunting and landscapes. His painting is characterized by a traditional figurative style, with soft and mellow colors and with references to the past and to the life of our ancestors. The boats, with white sails, take us to small ports teeming with fishermen and recreating the atmosphere of times gone by. The landscapes tell of our countryside and capture a poem that now lives only in our memories. He is considered an exponent of the Livorno school.
