Biography
Born in 1956 in Casablanca,
His grandfather, the painter Maurice Perrot, introduced him to painting at a very young age. After classical studies and a law degree, he entered the National Conservatory of Music in Paris, while continuing to paint alone.
It was his meeting with the painter Philippe Lejeune, founder of the École d'Étampes, whose studio he frequented, that determined him to devote himself to painting.
Member and Gold Medal of the Salon des Artistes Français, Member of the Taylor Foundation (Grand Prix René Beja), Grand Prix of the Salon des Armées, Official Painter of the Army since 2010.
The city of Chartres devoted an important retrospective to him in 2021 at the Saint-André collegiate church.
