Léonida BELTRAME was born in Adria (Rovigo) in 1904. He spent most of his life in Venice, where he produced his most significant works. His activity dates back to 1930. He began his artistic studies under the direction of the Borgognoni masters of the Academy of Pavia and his paternal uncle Alberto BELTRAME DE SANREMO. He studied "nude" for six years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice - He organized numerous personal exhibitions - He received the title of Commander of the Sovereign Hospitaller Order with a magisterial seat in Rome and has received the recognition of Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic - He died at his home in Sant'Elena in Venice in 1994
