Established at the end of her life in Ciboure, Louise d'Aussy Pintaud was renowned for the beauty of her naked women.

Biography

Louise d'Aussy-Pintaud was born in Bordeaux in 1900 and died in Ciboure in 1990.

Painter and sculptor and student of MA Seysse.

She continued her artistic studies with the painter Biloul at the school of Gustave Moreau in Paris. Her classical and refined painting highlights very expressive portraits and landscapes treated in an impressionist style.
Member of the French Artists (gold medal outside competition, Academic Palms).
She exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1934 and 1942.

In 1944, she moved to Ciboure (Lapurdi) with her husband, a businessman from Charente.
