Native of Saint Jean D'Angely, Gyslaine Pachet-Micheneau, was first interested in drawing, then watercolor before finding her way with the oil painting performed with a knife.
Essentially landscaping, the flowers, rivers and country environment of the artist contribute to providing subjects nearby.
In unusual tones, the backwaters, the many shades of a marsh under the sun, give rise to sometimes original compositions.
The artist has a discreet but well-sensed sense of color and her relationship to blue and green delight us.
From this happy alchemy we witness the birth of a work that remains the reflection of the personality of the artist. The spirit and the light of the places are respected, the seasons are transcribed without contempt. The artist belongs to the long line of those who paint poetic reality.
The artist is a member of the House of Artists and Who's Who Art Club International.
Her painting is appraised by "Cambridge Expertise".
She appears in Drouot's listing since 2004 and has been awarded the Silver Medal by Arts.Sciences.Lettres.
